Collect Request Solution


PhonePe Charge APIs are used primarily for offline organized merchants. PhonePe APIs are integrated with the merchant Billing POS. A merchant can request a payment from a customer by sending a collect request to the user’s PhonePe app.

A merchant does Offline Integration primarily for:

  • Accepting Payment at Offline Stores: The merchant sends collect request at the time of checkout.
  • Offline Delivery: The merchant sends the collect request at the time of checkout. The customer receives a notification on their PhonePe app and completes the payment once the good/service is delivered.

These solutions can be merged with your point-of-sale systems for easy record-keeping and management. Such a set-up is ideal for stores with high-volume sales, be it local shops or bigger stores.

This option allows you to auto populate the amount your customers need to pay, rather than manually entering it everytime. Your customers get a collect request on their phones and all they need to do is use their PhonePe app to complete the payment.
