Introduction

PhonePe Payment Gateway introduces UPI Autopay as a recurring payment feature within the standard checkout experience. Users can authorize recurring payments on a daily, weekly, monthly, or yearly basis through a one time UPI mandate. Once authorized, future payments are automatically debited without requiring repeated approvals, enabling a smooth and frictionless payment experience for Subscriptions and Services.

How It Works

Customers can now authorize recurring payments (daily, weekly, monthly, yearly, or as presented) via UPI. After the initial authorization, all future charges will be debited automatically without the need for repeat customer intervention.
